CC Monthly Download

Evening everyone!

I've been busy today birthday and holiday shopping for my little princess who turns 3 on Friday! I don't know where the time has gone and thanks to her my love of crafting was re-ignited on my maternity leave!

Anyway I just wanted to share a card I've made using Crafter's Companion free download for April 2014 called Floral Frenzy, which you can get here

I was inspired to make a Criss Cross Card from various videos I've been watching on You Tube this week. Disney Junior has taken over the television in our household and so I've resorted to watching lots of crafting demo's on the internet. Where's there's a cloud......lol! :-)

The papers and the embellishments are absolutely stunning in this download and I particularly like the bows and the bunting (not used in this card). Check it out!

I still have enough paper and embellishments to make more cards!

The ingredients used for the card:

Crafter's Companion Satin Finish Printer Paper *
Core'dinations *
6 x 6 card blanks (x2) to make the card base
Centura Pearl *
Collall Tacky Glue and All Purpose Glue *
Die'sire - Grace Frame *
Die'sire - Sun Flower (Large and Small) *
Die'sire - Leaf 2 *
Ribbin
Pearls

* Available from Crafter's Companion

Thanks for taking the time to stop by.

Crafter's Companion Monthly Challenge - April 2014

Hi everyone!

It's been really nice and sunny here today and I just keep my fingers crossed that it's going to last!

On a crafting note I'm so excited to be able to share with you my first project I made as part of the Crafter's Companion Design Team!

From 1 April 2014 the Monthly Challenge has moved to Facebook and
you can enter by clicking on this link

The challenge theme for April 2014 is FLORAL and you can create a card or project with any sort of floral theme. How fab is that!

Party Paws is a particular favourite of mine, as my daughter has a toy panda, which goes everywhere with her! For my first Challenge Team project I made an Easel Drawer Box Card, which would be perfect to pop a gift into. I've provided instructions on how to make the base in the tutorial section of my blog for anyone who wants to give it a whirl.

The ingredients used for the card were:

Party Paws Paper Crafting Kit (Topper and Paper)
Centura Pearl (Hint of Silver) (Card Base)
Die'sire - Cameo Stamping Frame
Core-dinations
Ultimate Pro
Collall Tacky Glue (Card Base)
Collall All Purpose Glue
Ribbon
Stick on Gems
Glitter Glue
Distress Ink (Walnut Stain)
Diamante Split Pins (x2) (for the handle)

Party Paws, the card, die, Ultimate Pro and glue can be purchased from Crafter's Companion

Have fun making your cards and projects!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

Toodle pips!
