Sunset Magnolia Tilda

Evening everyone!

I'm so glad it's Friday and the weekend......crafting time yippeee!! This is what I've been up to this week. I haven't inked up my Magnolias in a while, although of course I've still been adding to me collection, so thought I'd try this image out. I've had enough of winter now, so role on the summer!

I really wanted to try and have a play with the sunset, but I found it difficult to know when to stop! I stamped the image with Versafine and coloured it with distress ink pens.

I embellished the card with flowers, butterflies and a rose button from my local market. I think I could perhaps find a new obsession with buying buttons!

The inside of the card I finished with patterned papers, but have left blank for it to be personalised with a message.

Ingredients for the card

Sunset Beach Tilda (Magnolia Tilda Summer Breeze Collection)
Chair in the Sunset (Magnolia Tilda Summer Breeze Collection)
Distress Inks
La La Land - Heart Banner
Cheery Lyn - Mini Dimensional Butterflies
Leaf punch
Desert Blooms Paper 8 x 8 pack
Flowers (WOC)
Rose Button (local market)
Stickles and Glitter Glue
Ribbon
Brown Card Stock
Cosmic Shimmer - Bronze

Challenges

Midweek Magnolias - Beautiful Buttons

Thanks for taking the time to stop by.

I think I've cracked it........

Evening everyone!

So I am one of those people who have been having trouble with the new "unsupported" version of Internet Explorer and couldn't get it to upload my pictures. I am now using Google Chrome (after uninstalling, reinstalling and then signing in) what a malarkey!

So here goes another recent card I made for a friend who moved house. Fingers crossed.....

Yey it worked. Go me! Go me! Go me! (sang in silly chant with a victory jig around the room lol!)

So back to the crafting! I wanted to make a clean and simple card, so used my La La Land heart banner, the bows from the Memory Box heart die and added some shimmer pearls. I stamped "new home" and then cut out the individual letters.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by. Now that I'm up and running again (only in the literate sense, as I'm definitely not built to run lol!) hopefully will be able to be back soon with another creation.

A recent project

Morning,

Although I've been crafting I've not been blogging much lately, so just thought I'd pop along with one of my latest creations. Fancied making something different and with Mother's Day approaching thought I'd make this box to put some handmade chocolates in for my Nan.

This has been using the Sweet Treats embossing board from Crafters Companion. I cut out the sides using Spellbinders Medallion Five and then embellished with Memory Box Hearts, bows and diamantes.

Thanks for stopping by.
