A Friend's Wedding Card

Hey everyone!

Just a quick one from me tonight with a card I made for my friend's wedding at the weekend. I apologise for the poor picture, but with the dark nights I don't see much daylight in the winter with working all day.

The stamp is an All Dressed Up stamp and it was perfect for my friend's wedding card. In fact after showing it to her a few months back she insisted that I made her card using it.

It was coloured using my Spectrum Noir pens and then I added frantage to the background. The image was cut out using Spellbinders Pierced Circles and the banner die is from La La Land Crafts. The embossing folder is a Crafter's Companion Embossalicious Rose Vine.

As always thank you for taking the time to stop by.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenge:

Christmas Wreath

Hiya!

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend. I went on a day trip to Blackpool yesterday and spent way too much on grabber machines. I did manage to win my daughter two teddy bears, so she was more than happy! Intended to drive through the lights, but no sooner set off the car park and she was fast asleep! There's always next year :-).

Anyway, I'm back tonight with a project I  made from the materials in the recent Crafter's Companion Inspiration 5. I'd seen these wreaths on browsing Pinterest and that's where I took my inspiration from.

Instructions

1. Using 2 sheets of centura pearl cut out 2 rings with an outer diameter of 21cm and an inner diameter of 10cm.
2. Print 3 A4 sheets onto satin finish printer paper (double sided) from free CD and then cut (width ways) into 5mm strips. Divide into 2 piles of each colour.
3. Starting in centre of each strip curl paper outwards using bone folder and then curl other end.
4. Once all paper curled glue onto one of the rings using collall (tacky glue) until all covered.
5. Glue bow to the top using collall (glue gel) and tape ribbon onto back of ring to make a loop.
6. Spray with spray and sparkle (silver) and then glue other ring to the back.

Materials

free CD
satin finish printer paper
ribbon (wide and thin)
spray and sparkle (silver)
centura pearl
tape

Thank you as always for taking the time to stop by. I'm on the count down this week for the NEC craft show, which I'm going to on Friday. Have booked the day off work and have been stashing my cash for a few months now. Hopefully will be back with the results of my haul!

Giant Exploding Box With Wedding Cake

Hiya!

Had a fab day today, as took my daughter to see Disney On Ice at the NIA and we had a really good time! First time she has been to anything "seated" and she really enjoyed it despite trying to peer around the girl sitting in front with the giant, flashing Mickey Mouse ears!

On a crafty note I wanted to share another of my makes using the Big Score, which launched on Create and Craft this week. Hope you've all got yours on the way :-).

I used the A3 Double Sided Centura Pearl, which is absolutely lush and such a luxury! It's brilliant for a project like this, as you don't have to worry about the plain side! The card used to decorate is also from the very luxurious A3 Card Pack Elegance.

All of the boxes open, so you could put chocolates, jewellery or any other gifts inside to suit!

Ingredients:
A3 Centura Pearl Double Sided
A3 Card Pack – Elegance
Die’sire Embossacilious Folder – Rose Vine
Die’sire – Beautiful Butterflies
Collal Glue – Tacky and Glue Gel
Stick on Gems

Scruffy Little Cat Nicola

Evening!

Hope you've all had a good weekend. Mine's been really good, as I've spent most of it with my daughter crafting, baking and helping her to ride her bike. Good times!

Anyway I'm back tonight with another of my makes for the Spectrum Noir shows which start on Create and Craft tomorrow at 12pm.

I used the SLC stamp "Nicola" and coloured her in using my Spectrum Noirs. Sometimes I don't always feel like making a full card, as it can take me hours, as I'm a bit of a faffer lol!, so with this stamp I decided to make a simple door hanging. It would look great on the bedroom door, wardrobe or even a set of drawers.

I created the background by using the Die'sire Chantilly Lace Frame and cutting it out twice on different colour card and then just cutting into the black piece to make it smaller.

Ingredients

Neenah Card
Memento Ink Black
Spectrum Noir Pens
Skin – TN2 & 4 and FS1
Cheeks – CR1
Lips – BP5 & 7
Hair – TN2, 4 & 5 and EB3 and 7
Corset & Shoes – BP2, 3, 5 & 7 and IG4

Back with some more Moonbeam Meadow

Hey everyone!

Hope you've all had a good day! I've been working at home today, as I've had to take my husband into hospital (only for a minor operation) and he's now convalescing watching the preview to the Ryder Cup! So while all things are quiet thought I'd pop on and share another card I made for the forthcoming Moonbeam Meadow launch on Create and Craft.

This is a card using the Christmas Paper Kit and Christmas Inserts. The quality of the card in the kit is second to none and the images are beautifully gold foiled.

The kit will be available to buy on Monday on Create and Craft together with plenty of other goodies including a double CD (Everyday and Christmas) and 12 stamp sets!

Snowflake Bebunni

Hi all!

Well its the morning after the night before and did I ever really expect England to do well in this year's World Cup? Optimistically, I would have hoped they would prove me wrong....realistically we were always doomed! :-)

Anyway back to nicer, fluffy, Christmas things....Bebunni! Today I've got a sneak peek I made from the Die Cut Topper sheet, A4 paper pad and one of the new embossing folders.

I created the background from a left over piece of Centura Pearl that I had been using to cut my snowflakes from. I ran it through using the new Snowflake embossing folder and Le Voila!

This new Bebunni range is being brought to us by Crafter's Companion and will be available to purchase on Monday 23rd June on Create and Craft as part of a Four Day Deal. You're not going to want to miss any of the shows because this is a super cute collection!

Evening all!

Just wanted to share a card I made for this month's Crafter's Companion Challenge - Tags, Bags and Boxes, which you can join in with on Facebook here (UK) and here (US).

The inspiration for my idea came from the Crafter's Companion Halcyon Days CD Rom. I love the summer and the beach, so I thought I'd use the Bird House template on the Sweets Treats embossing board to make a beach hut :-)

I can imagine a whole row of these in different pastel colours! Perhaps something to work on as a future project!

The ingredients I used to make the box were:

Sweet Treats Embossing Board – Special Treats
Ultimate Pro
Core-dinations – Signature Series - Lights
Centura Pearl (Hint of Gold)
Collall (All Types)
Mini Brad
Ribbon
Lace
Twine
Wooden Mini Plaque
Cocktail Stick
White Gel Pen
Martha Stewart Punch
Patterned Paper (from left over stash)

The majority of the above projects can be found over on the Crafter's Companion website.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and I look forward to seeing your creations on this month's challenge.
