Magnolia Tilda With Comfort Blanket

Morning all! Weather is still bitterly cold outside, but a good excuse to stay indoors and craft. I'm so looking forward to the Spring/Summer!

I finally got round to making a card with this Magnolia Tilda image that I coloured when I was on holiday last September (!). I tried to use Spring colours to cheer me up in the midst of this dreary winter weather.

The materials used were:
Magnolia Tilda Stamp With Comfort Blanket
Copic pens
Spellbinders Timeless Rectangles
Yellow Ribbon
Flowers/Butterfly Border from my stash
Metal Corner from Wild Orchid Crafts
Papers were from a magazine
Punch for the leaves
Stickles Glitter Glue

Thank you for looking.

A Simple Birthday Card to lose myself for a while....

Hi all, I definately needed to do some crafting tonight to lose myself for a little while and here is the result :-). I also needed to do something with my hands in order to keep them out of the chocolate tin!

This is a really quick card using Spellbinders Medallion Five, Garden Flowers Embossing Folder and some pink ribbon and diamantes! This pink is a particular favourite of mine. Anyway must get off now, as waaaayyyy past my bedtime!

A Butterfly Kind of Day....

Hi all. Today I appeared to be inspired by butterflies by creating the two cards pictured below. I had previously had trouble with these dies by removong the die cut, which was very fiddly, however, I recently purchased some very cheap baking paper and I have to say that it worked wonders. The die cuts just fell out of the die literally! Highly recommended for anyone having trouble with these oh so beautiful (but very fiddly) dies on the market.

The above card was created using the new Spellbinders Timeless Rectangles just being released and also Spellbinders Les Papillions. A couple of pearls were added and the sentiment was from a Creative Expressions "Thoughtful Sentiments".

Again for the card above I used the Spellbinders Timeless Rectangle, but this time a Marianne Creatables Butterfly was added with a few pearls down the centre.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Toodle pips!
